James Lee | Procurement Support Agent
James Lee, Procurement Support Agent, started at Nanosonics in August 2010 as a Manufacturing Engineer and Production Planner, before transitioning into Purchasing and Procurement. Having seen first-hand the operations in several different departments during his tenure, James has a unique perspective into Nanosonics and its growth over the last 12 years.
“When I joined Nanosonics, there were about 60 individuals in the company. We had four individual shop locations on floors that were not linked. To ensure consistent daily output, I assisted the operator performing trophon® device testing, as well as packaging and warehouse responsibilities. Later, I was responsible for sourcing and purchasing electronic components, cabling, packaging, consumables and hardware. I now work specifically in Indirect Procurement.
I knew when I joined Nanosonics back in 2010 that the trophon device was a ground-breaking technology, with no other suppliers in the market providing this type of service. It’s exciting to see the company has grown to now more than 300 employees, and we have products installed all over the world!”
